Mission
The Douglas County Historical Society’s mission is to collect, preserve, exhibit, and publish historical material which is related to Douglas County, Oregon. Specifically, we maintain The Floed-Lane House Museum and open it to the public. We also publish the Umpqua Trapper four times a year. It is our goal to make young people aware of their heritage and the history of their community.
